What an amazing start for the Mission Vineyard Fellowship!  We just finished our first service a few hours ago, and already I'm brimming with excitement.  Jordan opened the service, Bobo led us in worship, Kelci blessed our gifts, Pilar shared a story, Scott gave us a message, Susan and Sophie taught the kiddos...and so many others helped to make our first evening really special.  I walked away from the night thinking, "YES! This is community!"  My favorite part of the night was getting to pray for each other, but the celebratory barbeque dinner aftewards was a close second.  Mmmm.... As everyone took off, we passed out little seedlings and tasked everyone with taking their plants home.  Every time they go to water the plant, we asked them to pray for the church plant and its growth and development.  If all goes well, we'll have a lot of Thyme on our hands (especially Chloe whose plant had an extraordinary number of self-planted seeds).  A very special thank you to Shawn for opening his home to us.  I feel extremely blessed to be a part of this community, and am looking forward to what God is going to do in the weeks to come.  Amy
