Kids on a Mission during Covid-19 Restrictions

6 Months through 5th grade

As part of our Sunday worship celebration, we have a kids’ classroom for children aged 6 months through 5th grade. If you are new, our greeter team will show you where our kids’ room is and give some information about how to check your child(ren) in and out.

The safety of your child, family, and our community is of the upmost importance, so we are following CDC guidelines for Covid-19, as well as Texas Health Dept. guidelines for childcare facilities. The DoSeum has also implemented a rigorous cleaning and sanitation protocol to keep their facility safe. There are a few things that we will ask of you as parents to help us make this new classroom a success:

  • Please label all of your child’s belongings in advance
  • If your child is potty trained, please take them to the bathroom before bringing them to class
  • If your child has any allergies, please make sure to notify our team upon check-in

Additionally we have implemented the following practices for the time being

  • All of our volunteers will wear masks/facial coverings while they are serving in our kids’ classroom
  • If your child(ren) is experiencing any cold or virus-like symptoms, we ask that you keep your kids home for the week and try again when they are feeling better.

Our desire is to partner with families, in shared modeling of significant discipleship relationships, in humility and service, to equip families to make disciples of Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20), at home and in their communities!
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” (NLT)

We are thankful for the ways you have entrusted your children to our ministry. It is an honor to serve them! Please let any of the kids’ ministry volunteers know if you have any questions or concerns.
